Some of Our Favorite Worship Resources
By Worship Strategies
Today’s newsletter is a bit different.
Instead of waxing on specific topics, challenging norms, or giving how-tos, I’m simply going to share some of my favorite resources that have fueled my growth as a musician and worship leader.
Don’t worry—there’ll be more content coming soon that fits our “regular programming.” But lately, I’ve been wrestling with a couple of topics that demand a greater amount of care than only a week’s time of writing, editing, discussing, re-writing, and so forth.
But now onto some really great resources…
Sound Plus Doctrine Podcast w/ Sovereign Grace Music
The folks over at Sovereign Grace Music have been releasing not only great songs, but also great discussions on worship, church services, leading the congregation, and so much more.
Whenever I need clarity or a different perspective on a topic, I always check their library for episodes that often end up being really helpful.
Check out the podcast on their YouTube page, linked below.
Worship Tutorials
If you’re a gear-head (or at least trying to wrap your head around gear), then Worship Tutorials is a great channel to check out.
Mainly focusing on guitar, they cover everything from instruments to pedals and amplifiers, giving you tips on how to craft your tone and playing to sound just like your favorite recordings.

Collaborate Worship
The guys at Collaborate Worship have been SUPER instrumental in my journey to learn the tech side of being a worship director.
They send out a weekly newsletter PACKED with great tips for improving your sound and set-up, especially for church plants or smaller congregations.

Pianote
Looking to start playing piano for the worship team, or build up your chops? Pianote is a great place to learn, where Lisa Witt shows you the ropes to get started right away.

And of course… Our Resource Page!
On our own website, you can find FREE resources on electric guitar playing, chord theory, developing a personal theology of worship, and more!
